THE NEST TRAINING STAFF
COACH JUAN HERNANDEZ
Juan is our Director of Player Development and brings over a decade of experience developing high-performing teams and players. Juan played 4 years of Varsity baseball at DeWitt Clinton High School where he earned All-City recognition junior and senior year. He later trained and played in the Dominican Republic, where he had the opportunity to join the Cleveland Indians organization as an infielder. After graduating college, he earned the opportunity to play for the Azules de Mexicali of the Mexican Professional Baseball League. Juan graduated from Ramapo College in 2009 with a B.A. in Economics with international honors. In 2011, he graduated from the University at Albany, SUNY, with a Master's degree in Economics.
COACH BRANDON
Coach Brandon has been a head hitting trainer in the organization since 2019 working with all our travel teams during our season long hitting labs. He works especially well with our younger players ages 8-12. In addition, he is currently the head coach of our 11U Blue team which he has taken to new heights, Brandon brings a great energy, professionalism and passion to hall his training sessions and clients love to work with him.

COACH KEVIN
Coach Kevin serves as a head pitching coach at the Nest and our 12U Blue head coach. Kevin was a Division I assitant coach at Farleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey. Prior to that he was an assistant coach at baseball powerhouse Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains, NY. He also served as head pitching coach in the Long Island Independent Atlantic League for 2 summers. Kevin has a passion for developing pitchers physical and mental pitching abilities. He helps his players understand how to attack and set up hitters and become a smarter and more well rounded pitcher.
